Archigram was an avant-garde group formed in the 1960s which challenged futuristic typologies, The Living Pod being one. a self-contained unit, designed for space travel. Using this for scale comparison an adapting it to site conditions formulated a proposal for the required 300 refugee minimum. This lead a more in depth infrastructural design, and explored means of construction & transportation capabilities.
